New AIM24S Digitizer/Seismometer Configuration October 3, 2005
The AIM24S Digitizer is the analog-to-digital interface of Science Horizons' AQUINAS Digital Field Station. Since its creation in 1992, SHI's Digitizer has reliably delivered data to customers as rapidly and as error-free as possible. Recent development at Science Horizons has produced a model that will not only fit into a 4-inch borehole, but will also attach directly to a seismometer. Mounting the digitizer in such close proximity to the seismometer eliminates the need for long analog cables that commonly increase noise interference.
