Science Horizons now offers a portable version of the ADFS called the Portable AQUINAS System. This low-power, light system is comprised of a TL (sensor, digitizer, batteries, and radio modem packaged as one); a CIM Lite (the communications link); and a laptop running XAVE, called the Station Processor Lite.

An innovative solution to address the requirements for small, transportable, and affordable seismic sensor system, the PAS is comprised of three modules:
Utilizing a modified digitizer card, a creative triaxial seismometer configuration, a long-life battery pack, and a reliable RF communications backbone, the PAS provides the same accuracy, sensitivity, and connectivity as previous larger and more expensive seismic arrays.
Easily transported into the field, the PAS can be installed and configured within minutes. It can be utilized for monitoring naturally-occurring seismic events, clandestine monitoring of man-made seismic activity, or for monitoring artificially-induced seismic activity for oil and gas exploration.
The CIM Lite (CL) is a smaller form factor version of its big brother, the CIM3. It posseses all of the capabilities of the CIM3, but is designed for small, remote sites. With its weatherproof housing, the CL does not need any additional protection from the elements.
The Station Processor Lite (SPL) is the mobile version of the SP, running on a Solaris-based laptop.
